As a young physician, I had the unique opportunity to practice medicine in a variety of challenging circumstances ranging from the sickbay of a U.S. Navy warship to the refugee camps of Afghanistan and the Sudan. These experiences made clear to me the huge gap in reliable medical care for people traveling and living abroad. In 1998 I created WorldClinic, initially to care for ships and remote stations. In the ensuing ten years our physician practice, assisted by the internet, has grown and now cares for anyone who requires an immediately available physician to solve any medical problem, at any hour, from any location.
I am proud to say that the company resides at the cutting edge of medicine, incorporating the latest communication and clinical technologies with a highly personal human touch.
